Design.

Things I have designed and built, each linked to the story behind it.

What isn’t here is fifteen years of research and foresight in the innovation department of a Fortune 100 company, where I made brands, prototypes, and system designs that are private and will most likely never see the light of day. Below is work I am very proud of.

TIMELESS

My first experiential futures exhibit, at 1906 Gallery in San Antonio in January 2026: prints that carry their own digital memory. My children and I designed the hand-painted suits with Limatus Bespoke; I designed the stamps on the back of every print and the tap-to-verify experience.

Limatus Bespoke OS

A custom operating system for a bespoke fashion studio, built through Press Play Futures: five systems with no single window into the business became one. Screens show demo data.

Motiv8 Athletic Club

A club site and team platform for a youth basketball club, built through Press Play Futures, in three surfaces: the numbers (rosters, stats, and seasons, with a public portal for families), the mind, and the vision, foresight for young athletes. Its 6AM Club app turns early-morning work into a habit: check in with the work you did, keep your streak, and see who else is up.

The Art of Four

A Black artist collective in San Antonio asked for a website. Through Press Play Futures we built them a brand, then built the website on top of it.

3vies brand identity

The 3vies brand guide, version 2.0 from 2020: why it exists, the logo and icon, advertising, and photography. It shapes the magazine and everything since. In 2026 the brand was updated to a cleaner version 2.1; the current details are on the brand page.

3vies Magazine

An annual print magazine I wrote, photographed, designed, and published from 2015 to 2026: eleven volumes of essays, poems, interviews, and photography. I also designed the packaging it ships in, and every copy goes out with a handwritten note from me to its reader.

Future artifacts and writing

Objects from futures that haven't happened yet, made so people can hold them and react, and the diagrams and illustrations from the essays they belong to.

WW@SA 2017

A two-day conference for designers and developers on Apple platforms, held at Geekdom in San Antonio. I designed the brand, the poster, the shirt, the website, and the conference app.

Gonna Eat Bread

A TikTok series where I eat a new bread every day, and the AI podcast that grew out of it: an exploration of the next era of intelligent content creation.

StoryBots children's book

I designed all of Why Do We Recycle?, a StoryBots picture book: the cover, the back, and every page layout. It began when one of StoryBots’ co-founders came across my magazine design.
