Mark Warnick is a visionary artist, futurist, speaker, and publisher of the insightful print magazine 3vies. He guides and empowers individuals and organizations to anticipate change, design resilient strategies, and live intentionally in a rapidly evolving world.

BACKGROUND

Hey there, I’m Mark! I am an artist, futurist, writer, poet, storyteller, energy connector, photographer, engineer, designer, founder, creative director, inventor, and father, but above all, I am a creator. I start things—things that move me. I am deeply curious and annoyingly optimistic. I also strive to be respectful to every person with whom I cross paths.

I find myself most comfortable with kind, creative, passionate dreamers. Those are the people and stories that really move me. The ones who see a world no one else can see and then bring it to life. It’s probably because I consider myself an endless dreamer at heart.

I am no one important. I don’t come from money. I don’t have titles, nor do I value them. I don’t really have any actual reason for people to care about me - in a social structure, I mean - and yet I surprise and intrigue almost everyone I meet. The energy I bring to a room, conversation, or project is noticeable. I am a vessel or conduit for positive energy to flow into the world.

I live an ordinary life in an extraordinary way.

FUTURIST

Foresight is less about predicting the future and more about realizing there are multiple possible futures, all of which are grounded in the present. It’s uncovering your preferred future and then working backward to reveal the decisions and actions needed today in order to make that future possible.

Strategic foresight is anchored in curiosity and asking questions. It goes beyond spotting trends. It’s understanding the drivers that are shifting the landscape. Then, you can begin to craft habits, roadmaps, and decision-making that will move you toward your preferred future. Check out workshops and coaching.

I sit at the crossroads of art, foresight, and intentional living. Most recently, I gave the closing keynote at the Circles conference on the topic of “Creating The LIfe You Love.” In the past, I have spoken at events from internal company conferences to intimate gatherings. ARTIST

I started 3vies magazine to capture my journey of learning to live life intentionally, hoping to inspire others to wake up to life. What began as a passion project continues to grow and amaze me. Each volume corresponds to a year of my life. So, volume 30 contains all the articles, poems, photography, interviews, and learnings curated together and published when I was 30. Volume 31 was curated and published when I was 31, and so on.

I also created 3vies as a type of laboratory to test ideas and figure out how to run a business. I am a big believer that we learn by doing. The magazine was the first process that made me feel alive. I fell in love with it. That is the biggest trick to having a chance to stumble into success. Find a process you love more than money, and it will pay you back 100-fold throughout a lifetime.

I like to show some behind-the-scenes photoshoots and interviews for a series I created called “People Who Inspire Me.” I travel around interviewing artists and creative entrepreneurs to learn the decision-making patterns that lead them to develop their unique lives and how they navigate it all. WHAT DOES 3VIES MEAN? (pronounced “twah-vee” in French or “3-vee” in English)

3vies is French for three lives. The idea is that if you live your life intentionally, you can accomplish three lives in one lifetime.
