Timeless

1st Experiential Futures Exhibit - blending physical & DIgital

This exhibit showcased work created throughout my 30s.  It was presented as a traditional art gallery with a seemingly invisible experience, showcasing a future in which physical objects have perceived memory through linked digital content. It was also showcasing how it feels to have technology truly blend into the background.

Each image had a secure NFC/QR tag affixed to the back linking directly to the permanent digital blockchain-verified Certificate Of Authenticity (COA), ensuring the artwork’s provenance remains with the piece over time and can be verified instantly with a NFC enabled device. This was part of linking physical objects to digital content. Read the full details of the experiential futures project here.

Exhibit hung  Jan 9-24, 2026, at the 1906 Gallery in San Antonio, TX

Physical Objects with Digital Memories

I really loved playing with the idea of what if physical objects could carry digital memories. That was the baseline idea for the interactions. I was driven by my research into the art industry and by uncovering the systems art collections use to track each piece and demonstrate provenance. Realizing it was a combination of physical elements (Certificate Of Authenticity-COA, exhibition checklist which holds the system for collection details) and marking the object themselves (writing directly on the back of the art piece-collection ID, Date, signature, and exhibit stamp-proof item hung in the exhibit). I wanted to create a system for embedding technology that could travel with an art piece and serve as an entry into a digital realm tied to it.

The EXPERIENCE

Above you can see an example of being in the gallery and the person approaches the London print and scans the bottom right corner of the print and it automatically opens them to the blockchain COA or even view the blockchain transaction.

Then they scan the wall label NFC tag which launches them to the website where they are able to purchase a print.

The Laboratory

FIRST—This was more than an art exhibit or celebration of the art I created throughout my 30s. It was in fact, a laboratory for helping understand what it would take to bring an installation into reality. This experience was also an investment to understand the art world—both showing it and collecting it—and exposing some invisible systems for navigating the industry. It was an investment in my future. This is the first of many experiences to come.

SECOND—It was also a laboratory for teaching my kids. We spent the last three years planning this together. We as humans, learn best by doing. This project was a chance to help my children identify with their creative center and build their confidence to trust their own creative inspirations. I believe it will be a tool that will guide them in their long and creative life ahead.

The Timeless Suits

The Timeless suits were the capstone of the exhibit with the opening night being a fashion show debuting the designs. This was a moment to make a unique 1-of-1 wearable art piece in the physical world that would then be photographed, converting it into a digital image that would then be the cover of the Volume 40 magazine releasing in March 2026.

So going from physical art to digital photo back to physical magazine and keeping the link between them all. The original idea was also to include NFC tag embedded in the sleeve of each of the suits that would lead you to learn about each of the individual suits and the story for the inspiration that went into their design but was unable to bring this idea to life.

Back story

These timeless suits were inspired by the original cover of the 3vies magazine Volume 30 released in 2016. We created an Ombre with our hair color. I was going for a similar effect with the brand blue color in the suits and having a patter that connects when we are all together. I wanted each suit to be a 1 of 1 piece of art. We collaborated with Limatus Bespoke (who was also part of the “people who inspire me series”) so each even base level the suits are custom and then the painting made it so unique. Truthfully they turned out even better than I imagined.

Here is the BTS and progression. I Love to see this. The middle shot below was the concept I had created to share my vision with the kids as they would be painting their suits.

People Who Inspire Me

Timeless (30s) Collection

In this process I realized there is not one way to live a full, joyful life. So I started to interview other artist, creatives and entrepreneurs to learn how they make decisions and built their systems to navigate life. In reality I am showing my children they can take the parts that speak to them and start building the life they want now. Everything has been about helping my kids learn how to craft a life tailored to what speaks to your own soul.

Also had NFC and QR Tags on the wall label that linked to this section so people could learn or follow the people they saw in the physical print online. Helping people move from the physical world back to the digital world to connect with these inspiring people.

Limited Archival Prints

These are the top 10 photos from the last 10 years. Each 30x40 inch print only has 10 editions with 2 artist proofs. One of each prints hung in the gallery at 1906 Gallery from January 9-24, 2026 and none of the prints that actually hung in the exhibit are available to purchase at this time. They will remain in my private collection. The last photo, “To The Future,” is the 60x40 inch flagship art piece in the collection. There is only 5 editions with 2 artist proofs and it was the major reveal at the art show. It is also the cover image for the Volume 40 magazine.

Poems & Photos - designed to take a piece of the show home

Poems

These poems are some of my top works across magazine volumes of my 30s. The poem “Rare” is probably the most incredible thing I have created. Each of these is incredibly meaningful to me. I also added a new one, “she held my soul” that will be part of Volume 40 later this year. These poems carry a timeless nature to them. they speak to our infinity. The part of each of us that is unlimited. I hope some piece of them can inspire you.

What didn’t make it in

I had two others that I wanted to do as well but felt like too much. I really love these ones as well. “Connected to you” is a new poem that will be releasing in Volume 40 as well. “In the quiet” was released in volume 37 and was part of an article I wrote on the same title. The article (along with this poem) is one of the top articles I feel I have written. Sad these didn’t make it in but cuts have to be made. Often is more about what doesn’t make it in that creates a great show.

Photos

I Had too many photos that didn’t get into the show that I felt were really amazing shots and I wanted them to have a small part in this as well. Plus I felt people would enjoy having a piece of artwork from me and from their experiences they could hang or display. But truthfully the Iceland photos along were just too gorgeous not be included in some way in this. :)
